We arrived at 7.30pm and it was bustling. The first thing you notice is the loud dance music so we realised it was going to be a struggle to talk. The bar surrounded by seats was very cool but the tables for eating were really too close together.
I went with my friend Caimin to the Boot & Flogger on an August Friday evening. The atmosphere was really pleasant and the place not overly busy compared to other venues in the area at that time of the week.
I reserved a table for my friend and former flatmate Michael and myself for a Thursday evening at 8pm. Upon arrival, our first impression was just how busy it was; there were several people outside reading the menu and not able to secure tables.
I ate with my colleague and housemate Helena at Hawksmoor Borough on a cold Tuesday evening during the February snow, so a warm and softly candlelit restaurant was the perfect place to go!
