Long-standing residents Robert Holden and his wife Helen live in a four-bedroom house in Merrick Square.
They have lived in Trinity Village for over 40 years; moving to their current home from another property in Trinity Church Square.
The couple were drawn to Trinity Village for its central London location and ease of travel to work, as well as to the quietness and the beautiful architecture of the squares.
Robert and Helen have raised a family here and now enjoy spending time with their children and young grandchildren. They also love the theatre, films, reading and walking.
“We have benefited from the good community in Trinity Village and the mix of ages and families, as well as the fact that several residents have been here for a number of years,” says Helen.
“There is an active residents’ association which we feel helps to foster that sense of community – successful campaigns such as the closure of Trinity Street to through-traffic have really helped to protect the tranquillity of the squares too.”
Helen is a retired House of Commons official; Robert is a landscape architect and university lecturer.
