Previously property administrator, Dawn Sparks, lettings manager, is a familiar face to most of the residents.
She spends her time keeping the properties in Trinity Village occupied, dealing with residents’ lease queries and handling refurbishments as the properties change hands. Residents are contacted three months before the end of their lease to find out if they wish to stay or move on; preparations can then be made to match new people with vacant properties.
Angela is often the first point of contact for issues that crop up and is well known for her friendly and approachable manner – taking time to get to know people individually and listening to concerns.
The first two weeks of December are often a busy time as new people settle in for the festive season and there are several local Christmas events organised by the TNRA. “We always look forward to the Christmas tree going up in Trinity Church Square,” Angela says – “and to our office Christmas lunch!”
Her interests include gardening and interior design which means that a favourite part of the job is taking care of refurbishments. “I love being able to make decisions about new kitchens, bathrooms or decorating,” she says. “Even though we are governed by the properties being Grade II listed – the fact that we can make changes according to what type of property we are dealing with makes it interesting.”
